Thats Right… Tonie Carroll is back for the Broncos on Friday Night but the question is: will he get a start? and where will coach Ivan Henjak be playing Tonie when he runs onto the Field at Suncorp Stadium…

Firstly lets look at the options… Earlier on in Carroll’s career he was an outstanding centre which got him a contract from the Broncos to Leeds where he scored 23 tries in 28 games and eventually came back to Brisbane. But, for tomorrow nights game against the Warriors, the Broncos have enough centres with Justin Hodges and Israel Folau returning as well as Steve Michael’s who is also currently playing Centre. Having said that, Karmichael Hunt will be out and Josh Hoffman will be in but with Hoffman’s lesser experience in NRL grade football at this crucial part of the season for the Bronc’s, is it possible Hodges may be pushed into fullback and Carroll have a start in centre? Once again having said that, Hoffman is a huge talent and has plenty of potential and this game against the Warriors could possibly prove to those watching that Hoffman may be “the next big thing” coming from the Broncos.

But back to Carroll, he is also a more than capable back rower, finishing his career for the Broncos as Lock.
As Carroll is more affiliated with the Back Row – playing his most recent games in the back row positions – your best bet is to see him either run on, or come off the bench into the back row tomorrow night.

On behalf of Pubcouch.com, i would like to wish Tonnie Carroll and the Brisbane Bronco’s good luck for tomorrow nights clash against the New Zealand Warriors at Suncorp Stadium.

PS: Broncos By 12 ;)
